Removable covers and cushion covers can be washed with a mild detergent at 30°C to 40°C on a gentle cycle in your washing machine. Do not overfill the washing machine. Regular maintenance care prolongs the life of your upholstered furniture. We recommend caring for your upholstered furniture by regularly brushing it with a soft natural brush or vacuuming it with the upholstery cleaning nozzle. In the case of liquid soiling, it is important that all liquids are quickly blotted up by an absorbent cloth. Do not rub the fabric – this will force the dirt into the fabric. The stain can then be removed with boiled lukewarm water, neutral soap and a soft clean sponge. Only ever use lukewarm water. Do not use microfibre cloths or microfibre sponges. When using chemical detergents, e.g. acetone, alcohol, acids or cleaning alcohol, there is a risk that this could alter the colour of the fabric.

NOTE

• No solvents or acids should be used on microfibres / micro velours – there is a risk that these products will destroy the fabric. When removing sticky deposits (e.g. from sweets), first soften the affected area by wetting it and then carefully remove the deposits. There may be a separation of fibres if the sticky deposits are removed when the fabric is dry.
• Always clean the entire surface: covers on upholstered furniture become darker through staining, especially on upholstered furniture that has been in use for a longer period of time. If one section is cleaned intensively, this area may stand out as a lighter part of the fabric. Therefore, you should clean the entire affected area (seat, backrest and armrest) from seam to seam or from the outside to the inside.
• Let it dry thoroughly: you should give the furniture enough time to dry completely, especially after cleaning it with water and neutral soap. Normal room temperature is ideal for this purpose. Seat sheen may easily occur if the furniture is used when it is wet! Be careful when drying with hot air (hair dryer, heater fan): synthetic materials are sensitive to heat.
• Staining caused by fabrics that are not colour-fast, such as dark coloured denim, may occur on light-coloured cover fabrics. If colour still rubs off onto the upholstery fabric from denim after the latter has been washed several times, this is obviously a defect in the clothing material and is not due to the quality of the upholstery fabric.
• The following applies to all cleaning processes: Please only use the furniture again after the cover has dried completely. Repeat the cleaning process several times in the case of stubborn stains.
• Please make sure that no hot water bottles, heating blankets or similar are placed directly on the cover fabric. Heat combined with pressure will change or damage the fabric surface.
• If you use a hair dryer to dry the cover after cleaning, make sure that the cover is not heated too much and that the hot hair dryer does not come into contact with the cover (safe distance). Do not use an iron!
• Be careful when using steam cleaners!
  Do not use the steam cleaners that are advertised on television for cleaning upholstered furniture: they reach such high temperatures that there is a risk of melting synthetic materials. This may lead to seat sheen, for example!
• Accumulation of static electricity:
  If there is an accumulation of static electricity, all you have to do is wipe the fabric with a damp cloth and increase the humidity in the room.
