himolla is a leading upholstered furniture manufacturer in Europe and specializes in the development and production of high-quality, functional upholstered furniture with ideal seating comfort and practically unlimited configuration options. Particular emphasis is placed on himolla's own design, which creates a trend-setting identity and is recognized by customers. Again and again, award-winning furniture with “design classic potential” is developed. The design and thus the intellectual property of himolla is protected by registered design patents for important models.

This also applies to the successful “1926 Planopoly” model, which is highly sought after across the market. In its ruling against the Polish company, the Cologne Regional Court confirmed that the overall impression of both sofas is identical despite minimal differences. The imitator had to pay damages and remove remaining stock from the market. All in all, this is an important and clearly visible sign against the unfortunately widespread trend towards counterfeiting!
